Hotel and Travel Information
HotelHotel reservations within the IPEC block and at the special rates are only available to registered attendees and will be made by IPEC. Within 2-3 business days of your registration confirmation, you will receive a separate email with your hotel reservation details. Telephone reservations will not be accepted. Contact [email protected] for name changes, arrival/departure changes, and/or cancellations. Please note: Your registration fee does not include hotel accomodations or travel related expenses. Hotel Block Rates Single/Double Occupancy: $209 per night (plus applicable state and local taxes and fees) Reservation cut-off date: May 31, 2022 Pay Upon Check-in Upon check-in on June 21, 2022, you will be asked to submit your credit card for payment directly to the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center. Each participant is responsible for covering their own travel, lodging, other meal costs, and incidental expenses. LocationGeorgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center800 Spring St NW, Atlanta, GA 30308 TravelClosest Airport: Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) Hotel ParkingOn-site parking is available via the parking garage connected to the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center. The garage is accessible near the hotel's main entrance at Spring St. NW and Armstead Pl NW (across from Barnes & Noble) or via the garage entrance at Spring St NW and 4th St NW. Upon checking into the hotel, the front desk will give the option to add parking to your room and validate your room key which will provide you in and out access to the connected parking garage. Self parking is $21 for unlimited in/out access. Above rates are subject to change. IPEC is closely monitoring updates from the World Health Organization and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention regarding the situation in communities where cases of the virus have been confirmed. Georgia Mask Protocol MASKS ARE RECOMMENDED for everyone in indoor public places. Due to rising COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations, Georgia recommends everyone ages 2 years and older should properly wear a well-fitting mask indoors in public in areas where the COVID-19 Community Level is high, regardless of vaccination status. MASKS ARE RECOMMENDED for everyone who is not fully vaccinated in indoor public places. How Is the 2022 IPEC ILDP Meeting Affected?We want to assure our conference attendees that we are proceeding as planned to hold a safe, educational, fun, and successful event June 22-24, 2022. There are currently no travel restrictions or advisories to or from or within Atlanta, Georgia. The safety of our attendees remains our highest priority and we continue to monitor the COVID-19 developments closely. Attendees can expect to see heightened levels of cleanliness and onsite accommodations to actively encourage all conference participants to take common-sense precautions following CDC guidelines when they are onsite at the event.
